Strangeloop Networks Named Best Company to Work for in BC
Strangeloop Recognized by BCBusiness Magazine in 7th annual Best Companies to Work for in British Columbia Awards
Winners were awarded at a prestigious gala event at the Fairmont Hotel Vancouver on November 26 2008 and included companies from throughout BC and across a broad range of industries. The rankings were based primarily on confidential survey feedback from each company’s employees. The survey recognized the top 10 companies in two categories: top 10 companies with fewer than 100 employees and the top 10 companies with more than 100 employees. Strangeloop Networks ranked first in the Top Companies to Work for in BC with fewer than 100 employees.
Strangeloop Networks was also named as a runner-up for the Worklife BC Award. For the first time ever, BCBusiness and Caliber Leadership isolated survey questions relating to matters such as reasonable workloads, flexible work arrangements, workplace culture and support of a healthy lifestyle to create this award.
BC Business magazine conducts the Best Companies to Work for in BC survey to help companies identify what it takes to be the best and to uncover the Best Companies to Work for in BC. The survey measures employee satisfaction in four key areas, including: talent systems, employee engagement, leadership dynamics, and organizational culture.
